Opportunity

Well-established, growing, successful Oncology Capital Products operation seeks a Business Development Manager to be the face of the company and evangelist as the firm launches their new Dermatology Division. This outfit’s system is an alternative to Mohs Surgery and remediates Basal and Squamous Cell Carcinoma without pain or patient downtime, without reconstructive surgery, and without scarring. The procedure is insurance reimbursable (strong reimbursement). The company is introducing new, next generation technology in their product configuration that provides Dermatologists greater options on how best to treat their patient. The focus will be a mix of local-regional sales combined with an outreach and sales to Luminaries and Key Opinion Leaders across the country. (See “Geography” information in the “Key Points” section below). This is 100% a sales role.

While this company has been in business many years, this individual contributor position (to start) is a special, early stage opportunity–that with success–will evolve into a national sales leadership role and the creation of a field sales organization focused in Dermatology. Candidates for this position be Senior Areas Sales Managers, Regional Managers, or Managers with National Sales responsibility that want to be part of something new and be in position to be a leader in the Dermatology Division.

 

Position Description (Brief Overview)

  • Drive the adoption of best practices in the sales process
  • Achieve strong sales growth, meet and exceed sales objectives
  • Identify and develop strategic Luminaries and Key Opinion Leaders
  • Establish and maintain top level contact with key customers
  • Travel as necessary meet with prospects, attend trade shows and key events
  • Note: This is a heavy travel role, likely 35%+
  • Develop quarterly and annual business plans to drive revenue and increase market penetration

 

Qualifications/Requirements (Brief Overview)

  • Aesthetic or Therapeutic Capital Equipment sales experience preferred
  • Excellent network of Luminaries and Key Opinion Leaders a plus (not required)
  • Successful history of exceeding goals; exceptional consultative skills
  • Experience building successful sales teams a plus
  • Strong technical/clinical acumen with ability to assimilate and apply new technical information rapidly
  • Computer skills: Including CRM software, tablet, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience

  • Car Allowance: $750 per month, plus cost of fuel paid for
  • Fulltime, W2 position, benefits, could be an equity position down the line
